The Phase I above ground event coincided with the launch of the project on the T on October 1, 2013.  Phase I was dedicated to the reality of climate change. The ostriches asked “Based on the evidence, ___________ %  of climate scientists have concluded that human caused climate change is happening.” Pedestrians were invited to place a sticker beneath the answer they agreed with most: 42%, 68% or 97%.
